Regina M. Foley represents plaintiffs in complex civil litigation, including medical malpractice, products liability and other incidents that result in catastrophic personal injury and death. In September 2004, she was recognized in the Philadelphia Legal Intelligencer and The Pennsylvania Law Weekly as being a “Lawyer on the Fast Track”, honoring both her legal skills and her community service. In 2005 and 2006, she was recognized by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers as a Rising Star, an honor granted to less than 2.5% of lawyers in the state. She has received through Martindale - Hubbell the highest possible rating in legal ability and ethics.
Ms. Foley contributes to her profession on a multitude of levels. From 2001 through 2004, she was an elected member of the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Young Lawyer Division and was responsible for overseeing several division committees as well as infusing the 4,600 member group with energy. She currently serves as a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s State Civil, Women in the Profession, and Professional Responsibility Committees.
Ms. Foley is a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Associations, where she served on the Board of Governors from 2001 through 2006. She is also a member of the Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations and is serving her second term as an elected member of the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Ms. Foley volunteers with the Support Center for Child Advocates representing children in dependency proceedings and other juvenile matters. She has also volunteered with the Pennsylvania Bar Association FEMA disaster relief effort which provided Pro Bono services to those affected by Hurricane Ivan and other disasters. She serves on the pastoral council of her church and from 1997 through 2003, she served as an elected member of the Alumnae Board of Mount Saint Joseph Academy. In September 2006, Ms. Foley was invited to serve on the Advisory Board of the Sisters of Saint Joseph Welcome Center which was established in 2002 to focus on the needs of the immigrant community in the Kensington area of Philadelphia.
Ms. Foley graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and received her Juris Doctorate from The Widener University School of Law. During law school, she was a certified legal intern with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office in the Division of Tort Litigation. She has also graduated from The National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
